While ‘The Elysian Fields’ acts as a sequel to CLAIRVOYANCE and FLORILEGIUM, it, without question, shines on its own in a very heart wrenching and beautiful way. In this anthology, there is no Elegist, there is no Oracle; not even the mention of them. Contrarily, I tell the story about a Utopian and his Dystopia. The image of a perfect life haunted by the love of his last. The poems included in ‘The Elysian Fields’ are inspired by the past six months of my life. In some regard, The Fields are an extension to The Heartbreak Distribution System, a continuation of The Melodies Behind My Pain, parts of OMENS and parts of The Foretelling Of The Oracle.
